EVANESCENCE & HALESTORM Appear To Be Teasing A Tour
The crowd waited 12 years for this moment, and all of that energy was unleashed in every word that was sung back to the band. 3 Doors Down, Buckcherry, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, The Verve Pipe, Tantric, Dishwalla, Louise Post (of Veruca Salt) and Nine Days have all been booked for the festival cruise, which is presented by Sixthman. The "Summer of '99" Cruise will be held from April in 2024, departing from Miami, Florida for Nassau, Bahamas aboard the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship.

Presented by Sixthman, the Summer of ’99 cruise lineup is also topped by 3 Doors Down, and includes Buckcherry, Tonic, Fuel, Vertical Horizon, The Verve Pipe, Tantric and Nine Days, among others. CREED disbanded in 2004 but reunited five years later for the aforementioned "Full Circle" LP and an extensive tour. Stapp has since toured and recorded as a solo artist, although he suffered a drug-related mental breakdown in 2014 and spent several years recovering from that. When it was all said and done, the show proved to be a cathartic experience for both the fans and Creed themselves, especially Stapp.
Week 2: Port Canaveral
The first cruise will set sail aboard the Norwegian Pearl from Miami, FL on April 18th, making its way to Nassau, Bahamas on April 22nd. While no other reunion dates, or recording plans, have yet been announced, Creed will take part in a live Q&A during the Summer of ’99 cruise that will be open to all attendees. Pre-sale signups for the cruises are available now through July 26, with July 28 marking the public on-sale; more details can be found here. Full Circle, released in 2009, marked the band’s last album, and Creed stopped touring together in 2012.

Heavy Consequence photojournalist Liz Ramanand is on the Summer of ’99 cruise, and captured photos and video of Creed’s first concert in 12 years. After setting sail from Miami, the Summer of ’99 cruise will visit Nassau, Bahamas, before returning to Miami on April 22nd. Among the other bands on the cruise are 3 Doors Down, Buckcherry, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, and more. CREED will perform aboard a second cruise, the "Summer Of '99 And Beyond", traveling from Florida's Port Canaveral to Nassau from April 27 to May 1. A full-fledged tour, also dubbed "Summer Of '99" tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off on July 17 and will run through September 28.

It's official — Creed have reunited after teasing their comeback earlier this month.
Nicki Minaj Rounds The Troops, Nas And DJ Premier Reunite, And Rick Ross Gets His Lick Back On New Music Friday
Their first live performance since 2012 is set to take place on the high seas on the band's own 2024 cruise festival, dubbed "Summer of '99," which features 3 Doors Down and a number of other era-specific groups for maximum nostalgia. Stapp, whose road to sobriety kicked off in 2014 after issues with drugs and drinking, along with thoughts of suicide, credited his recovery with providing him with the necessary tools to reach new heights with his CREED bandmates. The band's lineup of Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips is playing two shows during the cruise, which is traveling from Miami to the Bahamas between April 18 and April 22.

Beyond performances, the cruise is also set to feature a Q&A with Creed open to all guests, who can also enter lottery systems for basketball games with Stapp, karaoke and painting with Tremonti, and pick throwing with Marshall. Creed released four albums beginning with 1997’s My Own Prison, and helped define the mega-selling post-grunge rock movement of the late ‘90s. Singles like “One,” “Higher,” “With Arms Wide Open” and “My Sacrifice” crossed over from alternative radio to pop audiences, and with 1999 sophomore album Human Clay, Creed reached a commercial peak — the album has sold 11.7 million copies to date, according to Luminate.
Both cruises will have rockin’ live music from CREED; in addition to a lineup of iconic 90’s bands. However, each cruise will feature different ports, and destinations, and will occur on different ships. Summer of ‘99 Cruise and Summer of ‘99 and Beyond Cruise artists’ will vary between sailings. CREED's enormous success is largely due to the prolific writing team of Stapp and Tremonti, who founded the band together in 1993.
"Summer Of '99" cruise will also feature an exclusive live Q&A with CREED open to all guests, activities with bands and podcast hosts, panels, autograph sessions, and a very special Y2K Countdown theme party. As if that weren't enough, all guests will receive an autographed commemorative item signed by CREED prior to the event. Following the historic announcement and immediate sell-out of Week 1, CREED has announced a second sailing of their immersive '90s rock 'n' roll celebration at sea, Summer Of '99 Cruise. The Summer Of '99 And Beyond Cruise is highlighted by the Grammy Award-winning band's second public live performances in more than a decade. Presented by Sixthman, the leader in festivals and music cruises for more than two decades, Summer Of '99 And Beyond Cruise sails April 27-May 1, 2024 from Port Canaveral (Orlando) in Canaveral, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas aboard Norwegian Jade.
